Brilliant cinematography, no narrative

The point of a trailer is to intrigue the audience to look forward to watching your feature. In a way, you've succeeded on it. The backgrounds are stunning, the characters designs are appealing, and the animation, although limited, was admirable. However, trailers always give a brief summery of the story. Showing us the characters and what type of conflict they're in so we know if it's worth watching. Your trailer merely showed us random pictures in a sequence that I have trouble following. I've seen it three times and I still have no clue to what it is about. I give you a 5/5 for the good parts, and a 8/10 for the weak.

I don't get it

The whole Flash made no sense. Its important make the story more clear for viewers.

Serious Teen Angst

I can empathize with plot on a few things because I felt like that when I was a teen. Feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, and the world was an ugly place thats out to get you. But to actually not care about the welfare of others and have ill intent for them is something I'm never going back to. It just lit too many fuses. So, I don't know how to feel for this character. In order to feel for this guy, we would need to see some vulnerable or human side to him.

A bit esoteric

I've never questioned the purpose of toilet paper. It's meant to remove any stains left over to avoid foul smells and diaper rash. Have you ever had some doo-doo left over in your crack, squishing and squashing between your checks? It's a constant reminder which hinders your performance in your daily life. And diaper rash is something to avoid for obvious reasons. Thus, I salute you, toilet paper!

OvenGloves responds:

No you see toilet paper is great thing indeed, but what I'm saying is that making it smell nice is pointless, since nobody is going to come up to you and smell how fresh your anus is.

Those portals are tricky business

A well written short that didn't need all that razzle dazzle stuff to be good. I love the fact that the narrative in the short is obviously well developed and rewritten to be as solid as it can be. I can't stand these first draft submissions people put on Newgrounds.

Good start, but there's still a lot to learn.

You remind me of myself when I started Flash. Difficult at the start and I worried how people would react to my creations and felt frustrated that I couldn't kick ass in animation like all the Newgrounds' Greats. But with each passing project, I noticed that I keep getting better. Before I knew it, I started working faster, come up with better ways how to use Flash and my imagination is flowing like never before! It's hard at first, but there's a lot to look forward to. Just need to stick to this.

Funny

I noticed the receptionist was playing "Angry Birds". Wonderful game.

Mind Fuck

Very informative and well researched. I'm actually glad the animation is limited. It would have distracted me from the presentation.

Old School Fun

Like watching Nichtoons in the 90's. Wonderful decade to grow up it.

Lame

Your art style gave me the impression that this flash had some potential. But the moment the song started, it too a serious nose dive. The animation was good, but the story was severely lacking.

AmethystApple responds:

Well.. that's alright, I respect your opinion.. It was just.. yeah.. I should get better ideas.. I don't know.
Anyways, thank you for the compliment, really appreciate it :)
