The cartoon is a success then! x3
Designed Well
The story and dialogue is the biggest weak point. No emotional connection. Without it, it's just a series of events. Animation wasn't great but still good. Character designs were a little bizarre but well drawn. Great use of color and gradients, gave the backgrounds a feel of depth. Very important.
It blew my mind
Nobody on this floating mud ball can be THAT stupid.
Great story
You have a firm understanding of strong visual storytelling. It's not easy telling a story without words. The art quality wasn't as high as I would expect, but well compensated by the epicness. Overall, it's a great flash for actually having an emotional connection.
Great humor
I just love that silly guy. "Heh, okay!"
Well thought out
I can tell this is a well written story when I see one. And I love how fleshed out the characters are. They almost feel like real people. They contrast in personalities which lead to believable conflict. Excellent dialogue. The story kinda dragged. Could have used some fight action to give relief to the viewers.
A valuable lesson to all wannabes
Always start with paper and build yourself up to the big guns. Think of them as magic wands: they won't give you the power to perform, they're merely tools to channel the creative energy from within yourselves.
Good try
The background and book prop looked decent. The acting animation was adequate. The characters would have stood out more if they overlapped the horizon line.
thanks, though do you think i should have used some more subtle gradients
